In the final quarter of 2020, the U.S. consumer finance applications saw varied performances on unified platforms. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the top five applications in this category.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets experienced a significant increase in weekly active users, reaching 765K by the end of December from 467K at the beginning of September. Downloads peaked at 175K in the last week of December, while revenue saw a notable spike to $120K in the same period.

EveryDollar: Personal Budget, another major player, showed a steady revenue trend with a slight rise to $64K in the last week of December. The app's downloads doubled from 19K to 39K in the same timeframe, with active users increasing to 469K.

YNAB also saw growth in its active user base, from 84K in late September to 90K by the end of December. Weekly revenue fluctuated, ending the quarter at $50K, while downloads showed an uptick to 24K in the last week.

Hiatus: Bill and Money Manager reported more modest figures with revenue reaching nearly $16K and downloads at 4K in the last week of December. The app's active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at 6.3K.

Lastly, BabySteps: Hit Financial Goals had the smallest user base among the top five, with active users not reported. Revenue for BabySteps peaked at nearly $11K mid-December before ending the quarter at $7.9K. Downloads saw a significant jump to 2.6K in the last week of the year.
